Myth 1: You cannot control Ejaculation
Fact 1: It is completely untrue. A person can learn controlling ejaculation process the way a young man learns bladder (Toilet training) control.
Myth 2: Premature ejaculation is actually a psychological problem.
Fact 2: Not only psychological but physical factors also contributes to premature ejaculation like oversensitivity of penile region, certain disorders i.e. diabetes, heart attack, past sexual abuse etc
Myth 3: Alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and antidepressants are meant to control premature ejaculation.
Fact 3: These drugs may leads to certain side-effects like inhibition of ejaculation etc. However they can cause other serious illnesses and side-effects which must be taken into account like erectile dysfunction, chest pain, heart attack, cardiovascular diseases, orgasmic disorders etc. Furthermore antidepressants should not be taken without doctor recommendation.
Myth 4: Anesthetic creams and sprays are good in controlling ejaculation.
Fact 4: It is untrue. Instead these products make head of the penis as well as vagina numb. As a result the pleasure associated with sexual intercourse decreases. In this both partners become unable to enjoy sex.
Myth 5: Premature ejaculation will not lead to erectile dysfunction.
Fact 5: In majority of the cases patients who suffered from premature ejaculation for a longer period of time reported to have erection problem later on. Furthermore you can say that PE is the first sign of erection problem.
Myth 6: Premature ejaculation will not affect your sexual relationship and confidence.
Fact 6: It is completely irrelevant. A person can enjoy sex only when he will be able to last long in bed which is not possible with premature ejaculation. Furthermore this ejaculation problem greatly hampers the self-confidence of an individual resulting in relationship problems.
